Took a LOT more than 45 minutes, but today I figured out how to make a UV map and unwrap and all that. Not efficiently/effectively, but I have the basic know-how and can improve on that if/when I ever need real texture work done.
It’s looking pretty acceptable for programmer art!
Tomorrow’s goals: Make the player control the camera, and if I can, hook the weapon to it so it moves around with the player’s camera (like a first person shooter).
